Two Inputs With Selectable Input Priority

Equipped with two inputs – analog RCA and digital optical Toslink – this amplifier drives superior sound for two pieces of equipment, like a Blu Ray player and cable box. Plus it’s great for applications that need to incorporate multi-room audio with a single TV. This amp automatically switches to the input with an active signal, but you can set a priority input to ensure that one device always takes precedence – even if both are being used.

Thanks to IR learning, you can control this amplifier using the customer’s existing remote. It provides fast and easy control of volume, as well as other basic commands. You can also use the Episode® Remote Control for Digital Mini-Amplifier (sold separately) to teach the discrete IR commands to any universal remote. And for more complex systems, the amp’s hard-wired IR input can be used to connect directly to a control system – no emitters required. Hex codes for all commands are available for download on the Support Tab.

This amp features a subwoofer line level output and a 5V DC output – perfect for connecting our ES-SUB-WIRELESS or any other device that uses 5V DC…without using a bulky power supply. And you can even set the high pass filter to 60Hz Pass to protect both the amplifier and the speakers it is powering.

A small form factor, compact controls, efficiently placed connections, and mounting tabs allow this digital mini amplifier to fit easily into our Strong™ VersaBox, so it can disappear behind the TV and get completely out of the customer’s way. And because of its small size you can also place it directly on a table top without it becoming an eyesore.

The Episode® EA-AMP-2D-150A is an efficient Class-D amplifier that features two channels at a powerful 150 watts pre channel RMS, making it the perfect fit for stereo applications. With audio sensing turn-on, loop outputs, adjustable gain control and bridgeable output, it offers the versatility required for today's sophisticated audio systems.

Our engineers have combined today's most advanced digital amplifier technologies with installer-friendly features to create a robust powerplant for demanding audio applications. Unlike analog amplifiers from the competition, our digital amplifiers are much more energy efficient and run up to 80% cooler than traditional analog amplifiers.

Three convenient turn-on modes make it easy to integrate with simple volume controls or sophisticated control systems. Audio-sense is perfect for Sonos or Apple Airplay multi-room audio – when the last source shuts down, the amplifier will gracefully go into a power-saving standby mode. The 12V trigger inputs and outputs allow you to use a preamp or control system to turn the amp on or off, or have it "wake up" another device when the amp is activated.

Note: The front panel power button is inoperative when the 12V Trigger or Audio Sense power modes are selected.

For larger speakers or high-power applications, bridgeable channels allow you to turn this amplifier into a powerful 300W monoblock! Perfect for high-power outdoor applications, or double-up for a killer stereo system.

The EA-AMP-2D-150A offers a gain adjustment to optimize the amplifier to your specific system. This is used to prevent harmful clipping that could cause damage to the amplifier or speakers.

When using a stack of amplifiers, the loop outputs are a convenient way to daisy-chain the signal to downstream components – perfect for a high power outdoor zone, for example. This eliminates the need for RCA splitters and gives a much cleaner (and faster) install.

Multi-room AV environments can be tough on an amplifier. Each speaker run acts like an antenna, so all kinds of nasty things can happen when the weather changes. That’s why we engineered this amp with surge protection components that exceed CE Level 3 standards. During development, every connection was tortured using both an ESD and lightning simulator – all speaker outputs, RCA connectors even the power input have been surged ESD tested with up to 15,000V and Surge tested at 2,400V. Most importantly, though, they each lived to tell about it.

The Episode® Amplifier/Mixer, EA-AMP-COMM-1A-120, is a high-power, 1-channel, Commercial Audio Amplifier that includes all the features needed for today's sophisticated light commercial entertainment and paging systems.

This single-channel, commercial mixer/amplifier outputs 120 Watts RMS at 4 Ohms. It includes the configurable outputs required for common speaker types used in commercial settings: 50V, 70V, 100V, or 4 Ohm.

A total of eight inputs allow you to connect up to four microphones and four analog stereo sources for background music. An integrated mixer blends microphones with any one of the music audio sources – perfect for background music and paging applications.

Microphone inputs feature independent priority modes that enable audio "ducking". This automatically attenuates the music when priority microphones are being used.

Volume, Bass, Treble, Auxiliary and individual Microphone level controls are accessible via the front panel for easy adjustment. To change sources, simply press one of the front panel selection buttons.

Tweak master volume in tune with meter on front of unit. Just like a stop light, green is good to go while red means you should stop.

A built-in chime may be triggered from any contact closure – like a door sensor for a retail entrance. Select two- or four-tone to suit customer liking, or to differentiate chimes coming from two different amplifiers (front/rear doors for example). An independent volume control for the chime is provided on the rear panel.

Episode® Digital Subwoofer Amplifier with Front Panel Display – 500W

This amp’s front panel screen displays the volume level and other control settings. Access the menu function screen using the selection knob to adjust volume, crossover, phase, and EQ settings. It also allows you to select sound mode, night mode, and power mode settings, and can assign an IR device ID for control system integration. Plus, there is a lock control setting that prevents accidental changes in settings.

This Episode® amplifier offers flexibility to enable or disable EQ settings. There are 3 custom EQ settings optimized for our subwoofers.

EQ 1 optimized for use with our in-wall subwoofer with dual 8" woofers.

EQ 2 optimized for use with our Landscape series 12” burial subwoofer.

EQ 3 optimized for use with a Landscape series 10” hardscape subwoofer.

Features an IR port to connect an IR device. Simply connect an IR repeater or IR controls system to the IR port on the back of the amplifier, and set the device ID in the front panel controls menu.

Intelligent power management allows the amp to turn on automatically, either when an audio signal is detected or by using a 12V trigger from your AV receiver or processor. An illuminated front-mounted push button also allows you to turn the amplifier on or off when set to the always-on mode.

RCA line level inputs and pass-through outputs allow you to connect additional amplifiers, while the 12V trigger input and output allows you to connect another 12V trigger device; the amp also has dual sub outputs in parallel configuration.

Important Note: When two subwoofers are used in parallel configuration, the nominal impedance of each subwoofer should not be less than 8 ohm.

Rack ears with three fastening points help eliminate sag when the amp is installed into a rack, while top cover and side panel ventilation slots allow for better airflow.

A limiter circuit has been incorporated into the amp to protect the connected subwoofer from harsh or damaging distortion that could not only ruin the listening experience, but the woofer itself.
