The T-4 is a high-fidelity analog tuner produced in the early '80s. It’s part of Luxman’s “Ultimate High Fidelity Stereo Component” series and features a unique precision tuning system that ensures stable FM tuning by locking onto the station’s center frequency using a crystal oscillator AND THEN mechanically locks the tuning knob when the station is perfectly tuned, enhancing accuracy. Lots of tech: Wide/Narrow IF Bandwidth; toggling between low distortion and high selectivity modes; MOS-FET RF Stage; PLL-IC MPX Stage that provides high stereo separation and low distortion, and signal strength & center tuning indicators to simplify optimal tuning.
