The 2252B is a classic late '70s stereo receiver, part of Marantz’s revered 22 series. It has a warm, powerful sound, industrial design, and blue dial glow that's just cool. Specs don't mean much when you listen to it but it measures 52 watts per channel into 8 ohms across 20Hz to 20kHz @ barely measurable THD of 0.1%. It has concentric (L & R) controls for bass, mid, and treble. 2 Phono (MM), Aux, Tape Monitor, Pre-out/Main-in jacks for external amplification, that silky Gyro Touch tuning wheel for AM/FM, and built to last.
