Perfect for light commercial applications, the Episode® ECA-70MIXAMP-1-240 Amplifier-Mixer is a high-power single channel 70V amplifier that includes all the features needed for background music and paging. You get eight inputs for microphone and stereo hookups, plus an integrated mixer that provides expert blending. The XLR microphone inputs have independent priority modes that enable audio “ducking” – a must-have feature in restaurants and bars – and the powerful 240W amplifier handles even the most challenging applications.

This versatile amplifier supports 50V, 70V and 100V, as well as low impedance 4-ohm systems. And with a beefy 240 Watts of power, it handles large rooms and multiple speakers with ease.

A total of eight inputs allow you to connect up to four microphones and four analog stereo sources for background music. An integrated mixer blends microphones with any one of the music audio sources – perfect for background music and paging applications.

Priority Mic Inputs With Audio “Ducking”

Balanced XLR microphone inputs feature independent priority modes that enable audio "ducking", a feature that automatically attenuates the music when the priority microphone(s) are being used. Using condenser microphones? Don’t mess with batteries - our phantom power switch has your active electronics covered.

System expansion is the name of the game with this mixer/amplifier. Not only is there a balanced line output to daisy-chain a second amplifier, but there is also a fixed record output and preamp loop output / amp input should an external EQ or DSP be needed.

Front controls provide the store owner or manager quick access to Volume, Bass, Treble, Source Input and individual Microphone level controls. To change sources, simply press one of the front panel selection buttons.

The front panel LED meter enables the user to prevent clipping, which could damage the speakers. Just like a stop light, green is good to go while red means you should stop, as clipping could occur. Protecting the system from dead shorts on the speaker outputs is easy too, thanks to an LED indicator that switches from blue to red if there’s a short.

A built-in chime may be triggered from any contact closure – like a door sensor for a retail entrance. Select two- or four-tone to suit customer liking, or to differentiate chimes coming from two different amplifiers (front/rear doors for example). An independent volume control for the chime is provided on the rear panel.

A slim 2U chassis is 30% shallower to take up less space when stacked on a shelf or installed in a rack. Included removable rack ears and amplifier feet give you the flexibility to install it where you need.

A total of five inputs for microphones and sources provide a ton of versatility, while the integrated mixer provides expert blending and audio “ducking.”

This versatile amplifier supports 70V and 100V, as well as low impedance 4-ohm systems. And with a beefy 60 Watts of power, it handles large rooms and multiple speakers with ease.

A total of five inputs allow you to connect up to three microphones and two analog sources for background music. An integrated mixer blends microphones with any one of the music audio sources – perfect for background music and paging applications.

A ¼” phone jack for microphone 1 is conveniently located on the front – making it perfect for paging or emergency applications. XLR, ¼” and RCA inputs for microphones 2 and 3 are located on the back, and phantom power is available through the XLRs so you don’t have to mess with batteries when using condenser microphones. During normal operation, audio “ducking” automatically attenuates the music when mic 1 is used.

When a fire alarm or other emergency signal goes off, having a way to quickly communicate is key. The EMC audio input is designed specifically for this purpose. When it receives a signal all sources are muted and the incoming emergency signal is played. While the alarm is sounding, Mic 1 acts as an override so important safety information can be shared with the room occupants. Refer to owner’s manual for further information.

System expansion is the name of the game with this mixer/amplifier. A variable unbalanced line output (Mix Out) makes it easy to daisy-chain a second amplifier to gain more power or additional zones.

There are dedicated LEDs for the power and output level, allowing you to determine how much head room is left so clipping doesn’t occur. Plus, a protection LED turns red if there’s a dead short, and if the amplifier gets too hot, the temperature LED turns red and the system shuts down.

Perfect for when rack or shelf space is at a premium, this amplifier features vents on the sides and a fan in the back, enabling you to stack other equipment on top of it without risking overheating.

A rack-mountable 2U chassis makes this product easy to install with other system equipment. Ears are included, and removable feet allow for maximum flexibility when placed on a shelf.
