Perfect for smaller restaurants, bars, and offices, the Episode® 60 Watt Commercial Amplifier-Mixer is a single channel 70/100V amplifier that has all the features needed for background music and paging. A total of five inputs for microphones and sources provide a ton of versatility, while the integrated mixer provides expert blending and audio “ducking.”

70V, 100V and 4-Ohm Capable

This versatile amplifier supports 70V and 100V, as well as low impedance 4-ohm systems. And with a beefy 60 Watts of power, it handles large rooms and multiple speakers with ease.

Note: Only one connection type may be used at a time.

Multiple Inputs

A total of five inputs allow you to connect up to three microphones and two analog sources for background music. An integrated mixer blends microphones with any one of the music audio sources – perfect for background music and paging applications.

Three Microphone Inputs

A ¼” phone jack for microphone 1 is conveniently located on the front – making it perfect for paging or emergency applications. XLR, ¼” and RCA inputs for microphones 2 and 3 are located on the back, and phantom power is available through the XLRs so you don’t have to mess with batteries when using condenser microphones. During normal operation, audio “ducking” automatically attenuates the music when mic 1 is used.

Emergency Input

When a fire alarm or other emergency signal goes off, having a way to quickly communicate is key. The EMC audio input is designed specifically for this purpose. When it receives a signal all sources are muted and the incoming emergency signal is played. While the alarm is sounding, Mic 1 acts as an override so important safety information can be shared with the room occupants. Refer to owner’s manual for further information.

Flexible Output Options

System expansion is the name of the game with this mixer/amplifier. A variable unbalanced line output (Mix Out) makes it easy to daisy-chain a second amplifier to gain more power or additional zones.

Front Panel Controls

Front controls provide the store owner or manager quick access to Volume, Bass, Treble, Source Input and individual Microphone level controls.

LED Indicators Protect the System

The front panel LED meter enables the user to prevent dead shorts, overheating, and overload issues that could damage the amplifier and connected speakers. There are dedicated LEDs for the power and output level, allowing you to determine how much head room is left so clipping doesn’t occur. Plus, a protection LED turns red if there’s a dead short, and if the amplifier gets too hot, the temperature LED turns red and the system shuts down.

Side Vents For Install Flexibility

Perfect for when rack or shelf space is at a premium, this amplifier features vents on the sides and a fan in the back, enabling you to stack other equipment on top of it without risking overheating.

Installation Flexibility

A rack-mountable 2U chassis makes this product easy to install with other system equipment. Ears are included, and removable feet allow for maximum flexibility when placed on a shelf.
